Beer makes such a good match for so many food types. There is such breadth and depth of flavours in beer, thanks to ithe ingredients and the yeast. It is no wonder beers can make easy and excellent companions for many of the great dishes of the world

Beers develop their flavours from the main ingredients such as the different malts, various varieties of hops, yeast develop flavours as the beers ferment. Even minerals in the water influence the taste and aroma and finally the right level of carbonation will just lift and highlight the  flavours in the beer perfectly.

As we develop the bottled beer range we will add food recipes on this page to match to our beers and other beers we like.

But a good place to start for more information on this awakening to beer in the food world is Garrett Oliver’s book, The Brewmaster’s Table; Discovering the pleasures of real beer with real food.
